Shipping & Deliverables
At Frelo, we are a digital platform facilitating services between Clients and Freelancers. As such, we do not ship or deliver physical products. However, the following outlines how digital deliverables and services are provided and transferred between Clients and Freelancers.
Delivery of Digital Work
Milestone-Based Delivery
- Freelancers on Frelo deliver their work according to the milestones agreed upon in the project terms.
- Each milestone will have specific deliverables (e.g., design files, code, content, or marketing materials) as outlined and mutually agreed between the Client and Freelancer.
- Freelancers are required to upload and deliver the completed tasks for each milestone through Frelo's platform, ensuring the Client can access and review the work.
File Formats
Freelancers must deliver work in the format specified by the Client. If no format is specified, Freelancers should use common file formats such as:
- • Design: PNG, JPG, PSD, AI, etc.
- • Tech/Development: HTML, CSS, JS, Python, etc.
- • Content: DOCX, PDF, TXT, etc.
- • Marketing: PPTX, XLSX, etc.
Delivery Timeline
- The timeline for delivering work is tied to the project milestones.
- Freelancers are required to complete and deliver the agreed-upon tasks within the deadlines specified in the milestone agreements.
- If the Freelancer cannot meet the deadline, they must promptly communicate the delay to the Client, along with the reasons for it, and propose a revised deadline.
Client Review and Approval
Once a Freelancer submits a milestone, the Client will have the opportunity to review the work.
The Client is responsible for reviewing and providing feedback within the platform's designated timeframe (typically 5 business days).
Approval Process
- Approval: If the Client is satisfied with the deliverables, they will approve the milestone, and the payment will be released to the Freelancer.
- Revisions: If the Client requires changes, they can request revisions from the Freelancer. The revision process must be within the scope of the original milestone agreement.
Failed or Incomplete Delivery
- If a Freelancer fails to deliver the work as agreed within the milestone deadline and does not communicate any delays, the Client can request cancellation or engage Frelo's dispute resolution process to determine the next steps.
- In cases where a milestone is incomplete, both parties are encouraged to communicate and resolve the issue directly or request mediation through Frelo.
Digital Delivery Confirmation
- Frelo tracks all digital deliveries through its platform to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Once a milestone is submitted and approved, the delivery is considered complete, and the Freelancer's payment for that milestone is processed.
International Delivery
Frelo operates globally, meaning Freelancers and Clients can be located in different countries. The digital nature of the platform ensures that delivery is instantaneous once the work is submitted through the platform, regardless of location.
Time Zone Considerations: Freelancers and Clients should consider time zone differences when agreeing on deadlines and delivery schedules.
